Iilusio Somnum

Iilusio Somnum is a 23-year-old conspiracy theorist and Vanta Union fanatic from the Solar Kingdom. They're looked down upon by most others due to their perceived incapability to do anything as they have a rare disorder causing their brain to split in half. Both halves are in a constant 'battle' for control over Iilusio's body, but over time, they have learned to control them. Iilusio has learnt to fake a stern and stable, robotic personality in order to maintain the approval of others. When under pressure, they lose their composure and either side of their brain takes control, or if in an intense crisis, both sides.

They have never fully understood their disorder, as neither their doctors nor their parents ever took the time to explain it to them. This, along with their peers' mistreatment of them, led them to develop an intense hatred not only towards others but for themselves as well. One night a strange man approached them while they were out on a walk, he came to them with a promise that they'd learn to understand themselves. This man was the founder of the Vanta Union, a suspicious local group with… well, simply put, bad intentions. Iilusio looked past their sketchiness, looked past Bones' worries, looked past their principles, as they desperately seek the answer the answer to the question they'd been asking all their life, and joined the Vanta Union.

Imperio holds Iilusio very close to him, limiting him from speaking to anyone outside the group. He knows that by promising Iilusio an explanation for their disorder, and more excitingly, a cure, he holds them under total control. He does aim to, ultimately, invent a cure for their condition in order to ensure the authenticity of the Vanta Union's message and to 'prove' the Solar Kingdom's disregard for the public's wellbeing. Beyond that, Imperio plans to exploit Iilusio's unique power to summon the Black Hole, a cataclysmic force he intends to unleash to annihilate the Celestial Empire.

Iilusio is close friends with Bones, finding comfort in his calm, caring, and understanding nature. Unlike others, Bones doesn't burden Iilusio with endless questions or view them through the lens of their disorder. Instead, he sees them as a complete person, separate from their condition. Because of this, Bones is one of, if not, the only person Iilusio feels comfortable around. They often go on trips together to museums, cinemas, carnivals…They also hang out at Bones' house on occasion, and he will constantly shower them with presents, compliments, hugs, snacks… It's clear they really love each other. Eventually, Bones joins the Vanta Union - not only out of concern for Iilusio's wellbeing but because he believes that if someone as smart and capable as Iilusio is part of it, then maybe he should be too.
